Alia Bhatt’s mother and actress Soni Razdan turns a year older today. This morning, the Kalank actress took to Mysore to complete the Sadak 2 schedule along with Aditya Roy Kapur. But before flying down to Mysore, Alia made sure to wish her mother on her birthday with a simply adorable throwback picture. Alia Bhatt recently made headlines when a fake wedding card started doing the rounds of social media.

In the shared snap, the toddler Alia is seen sitting on the mother’s lap. Wishing her mother, Alia Bhatt wrote, “To the most inspiring, understanding, beautiful, special/light soul that exists. The fake wedding card had Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s name written on it. The fake wedding card made headlines so much so that actress’ mother Soni Razdan had called it ‘non-issue.’ She had reacted on the wedding rumors of the Raazi actress with her beau, Ranbir Kapoor. Expressing her disappointment, she had told Times Of India, “It’s a non-issue. Please, don’t give these miscreants more publicity than they deserve.” Even before that Alia, uncle, and filmmaker, Mukesh Bhatt had also stated, “Alia is busy shooting for Sadak 2 in Ooty. I have got a call from all over the country inquiring about the same. How can it be real? It’s sad. On the work front, Alia Bhatt is busy shooting for the 2nd instalment of Sadak 2 co-starring Aditya Roy Kapoor, sister Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. The actress will soon begin shooting for Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht.
