While the actress has been the postergirl for Indian weddings especially in metros like Delhi, all eyes are now on her upcoming film Veere Di Wedding. Sources reveal that since the title of the film is suggestive of a big fat Indian wedding and celebrates the spirit of the modern day girl, Sonam will sport many fashion forward Indian outfits,that will set several fashion trends for the upcoming wedding season. Sonam says, “My looks in the film are a mix of high fashion and traditional Indian with a contemporary twist. Rhea and I are working on them closely. We wanted to push the envelope with Veere Di Wedding since it's a complete feel good film, so we are meeting a lot of designers on collaborations.”
A Delhi based designer says, “Since portions of Veere Di Wedding will be shot in Delhi and suggests a backdrop of a wedding , everyone is looking for the next hot trend she will set and are already anticipating what Sonam will wear in the film."
