South superstars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s recent release 'Pushpa: The Rise' has taken the Box Office by storm. Released in five languages, the movie has been performing outstanding, making new records not just in the South, but also in North India. The film’s Hindi version is storming through the box office and has emerged as the biggest opener for Allu in the Hindi circuits.

According to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, ‘Pushpa’ Hindi earned Rs 4.05 crore on Tuesday, which is higher than its Friday collection. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 20.14 crore. Interestingly, this seems to be a new trend that the movie has set as it is quite rare to see a film’s weekday collection bigger than the weekend collection. 

Taking it his Twitter handle, Taran tweeted, “#Pushpa is all FIRE… Proves all calculations/estimations wrong… Day 5 higher than Day 1, 2, TERRIFIC HOLD… Mass circuits unstoppable… Shows increased at multiplexes… Fri 3.11 cr, Sat 3.55 cr, Sun 5.18 cr, Mon 4.25 cr, Tue 4.05 cr. Total:  20.14 cr. #India biz. #PushpaHindi.” Pushpa Hindi has managed to beat KGF: Chapter 1 Hindi version at the box office. The Prashanth Neel-directorial collected Rs 12.1 crore after its four-day run at the ticket window. But, the Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s movie raked in Rs. 16.09 crore within four days of its release.


Giving a tough competition to 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' Pushpa: The Rise has crossed Rs. 100 crore gross worldwide. Directed by Sukumar, the action drama revolves around the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The film was released on December 17.
