Alyy Khan Recalls Family’s Reaction After Watching Him KISS Kajol In The Trail; Pakistani Actor Shares, ‘Begam Aur Beti Ne Mudke Meri Taraf Dekha’
Alyy Khan spoke about how his wife and daughter reacted after watching him lock lips with Kajol for a scene in The Trail
Pakistani actor Alyy Khan, who enjoys a huge fan base in India, has made a mark for himself with his versatile performances. Having established himself in the entertainment industry during 1990s, he went on to work in Hollywood, Bollywood as well as Lollywood (Pakistan’s film industry). Last seen in The Archies, where he essayed the role of a rich businessman and Suhana Khan’s father, Khan left the netizens gushing with his on-screen chemistry with Kajol in their web series The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha.
It is safe to say that their on-screen kiss had taken the social media by storm. The 55-year-old actor recently opened up about the rehearsal process of the scene and how his family reacted after watching him lock lips with Kajol. Happily married to an educationist, Chandni Saigol, the couple are raising a son and a daughter. He opened up about the entire ordeal on Deepak Perwani’s late-night show Aap Ki Kahani. When he was asked, by the host, how his kids reacted to his kissing scenes, the Mere Humsafar actor shared that his kids prefer not to watch his projects. However, if he compels them to watch his films, they do so. Further talking on the subject, when questioned if it is difficult to kiss actresses on screen and how they plan it, Alyy express that nothing happens without rehearsals. He added, “Rehearsals ka matlab ye toh nahi ki aap wakai ek dusre ko kiss karenge. Alyy Khan went on to add that filming the actual kissing process is mechanical and rehearsals happen to avoid retakes. The actor, who holds a British citizenship, recalled how his wife and daughter reacted to his kissing scene in The Trail. He explained that during the release of the series they were in Thailand. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, he recalled, “Jab hum ye episode dekh rahe the, toh main baitha hua, Chandni baithi huyi aur dusri sofe par meri beti baithi hai jo 15 saal ki hai. Toh hum sab TV dekh rahe the, toh suddenly ye scene aaya, kiss huyi, kiss khatam huyi aur begam aur beti ne mudke meri taraf, maine dekha aur hum sab casually phir dobara screen ki taraf chale. Toh mujhe itna fakar mehsoos hua ki there was no raised eyebrows. Iss mein koi embarrassment ki baat nahi thi, beti ko laga ki ye Abba ka kaam hai.”
Talking about the web-series, their characters are shown as college sweethearts, who break up. Kajol’s character goes on to marry Jisshu Sengupta’s character, who gets caught in a criminal case. It is when she decides to fight her husband’s case, she meets Alyy’s character who still has feelings for her. As they grow closer, sparks fly between them which leads to them sharing a kiss.
