Amid The Huge Spike In Coronavirus, Survivor Abhishek Bachchan Requests Everyone To ‘Not Take Virus Lightly’; ‘Be Safe, Wear Mask’
Abhishek Bachchan, along with father Amitabh Bachchan, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya, had tested positive for Coronavirus. While Aish and Aaradhya were asymptomatic, Jr Bachchan almost took a month to recover from the deadly disease. After 29 days of being hospitalised, Abhishek was discharged and since then he’s been asking everyone to wear the mask and stay safe. Speaking about the huge hike in COVID-19 cases, India recently reported 97K, which is now close to 1 lac cases in the last 24 hours.

Now shocked with the numbers, Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter and asked everyone to be safe. He Tweeted, “95,735 !!!!!! That’s the amount of cases detected in just 1 day in India. Please be careful.” This morning, Jr Bachchan posted a video of his masked self and captioned it, “Wear yours. Be safe. Don’t take this virus lightly. #speakingfromexperience #wearamask #covid19 #coronavirus.” In the video, he is seen saying, “Whenever you go out or you’re with somebody, keep your mask on guys. It is important. Don’t take this lightly. Be safe.”

Recently, Aftab Shivdasani, TV actress Ssara Khan, Rapper Raftaar, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, singer Himansh Kohli, Genelia Deshmukh, TV actor Parth Samthaan among many others tested positive.


A while back, Aftab took to Insta and informed his fans that he contracted COVID. He wrote, “Recently I started showing minor symptoms of a dry cough and mild fever and I got myself tested for Covid-19. Unfortunately, the results came out positive and under the medical supervision of doctors and the authorities, I have been advised home quarantine.
