Amidst All The Trolling, Sonam Kapoor Makes An Appreciation Post For Husband Anand Ahuja Thanking Him For Some 'Extra Love'

The past few days have been very tough, especially for Bollywood. With Sushant Singh Rajput dying by suicide, Bollywood is in a state of shock. Meanwhile, on social media, a big debate over nepotism has sparked. Many are bashing celebrities and accusing them of having double standards. Sonam Kapoor too has been on the receiving end of the backlash and trolling for the tweets she made on Sushant's demise. A video of her from Koffee With Karan talking about SSR has also gone viral on the internet. Amidst this, Sonam made an appreciation post for her husband.
Taking to Instagram, Sonam posted a lovely picture with her hubby Anand Ahuja and thanked him for showering extra love on her when she needed it. In the caption, she wrote, "An appreciation post for my husband. Thank you for being extra kind and loving today. I really needed it. Love you so much." The lovely picture sees Sonam dressed in a beautiful white traditional outfit while Anand is dressed in a suit.
Earlier, as netizens started with the blame game and pulled up people from the industry to accuse of Sushant's demise, Sonam had tweeted, "Blaming a girlfriend , ex girlfriend, family , colleagues for someone’s death is ignorant and fucking mean spirited." For this, she received massive backlash on Twitter.
It was on June 14 that Sushant took his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his apartment in Bandra. What forced him to take such a drastic step is yet to be found. He was said to be suffering from depression.
