Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan Test Positive For Coronavirus: Aaradhya's Swab Test Done, Result Awaited; Test Results Of Staff Yet To Come – Reports
After Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, as per reports, the swab tests of Aaradhya Bachchan and the staff were done and results are yet to come in
Veteran actor and Superstar Amitabh Bachchan informed on Saturday that he had tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to his official Twitter handle and mentioned that after testing positive, he has been shifted to the hospital. Soon after, Amitabh Bachchan’s son, Abhishek Bachchan informed that he had also tested positive. Both Big B and Abhishek have been hospitalised in Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. Now, according to reports, Abhishek’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and the Bachchan family staff was tested for the virus and their results are yet to come.
As per Republic World, Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter and Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s swab samples were taken. The report states that Aaradhya’s swab samples have been collected by the authorities for the COVID-19 tests. It was mentioned that the reports are yet to come later in the day.
Speaking of the test results of all the members of the staff, as per the report, all the staff members inside Bachchan residence have also been tested for the Novel Coronavirus. The report stated that the results of the staff are expected later on Sunday.
Meanwhile, after Amitabh Bachchan’s announcement of testing positive, it was reported that Maharashtra’s Health Minister Rajesh Tope shared an update that the veteran actor is asymptomatic and in a stable condition. It was also reported that Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have tested negative for the deadly virus after their results arrived. In the meantime, after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s announcement, celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Esha Deol, R Madhavan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao and several others took to their social media handles to wish the father-son duo good health and a speedy recovery.
