Over the weekend, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were tested positive for Coronavirus, as informed by them on their social media handles and since then, the social media was flooded with wishes of their fast recovery. Both the actors confirmed that they have mild symptoms and have been admitted in the Nanavati hospital. While it was reported that Big B and Abhishek are 'stable and feeling better' now, their professional commitments have been put on the brake.
According to a report in TOI, due to the recent condition of the actors, Amitabh Bachchan who has a couple of films and television projects lined up for completion and Abhishek who has The Big Bull and Sujoy Ghosh's Bob Biswas, have now been delayed. According to a report by MidDay, producer Anand Pandit said, "We had maintained that we will begin shooting by July-end or early August. We can easily push the shoot to a later date now. After all, their health comes first." He also said that the October release of The Big Bull stands unchanged while they may have to expedite the post-production work to meet the release date.
On the other hand, apart from Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya are also tested positive for Coronavirus while Big B's wife Jaya Bachchan, their daughter Shweta Bachchan, her daughter Navya Naveli and son Agastya Nanda have tested negative.
Seeing heartwarming wishes from every corner, praying for his health, the Gulabo Sitabo actor shared a tweet and thanked each one of them, "It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me ..
