Gulabo Sitabo: Amitabh Bachchan And Ayushmann Khurrana Call It A WRAP; Big B’s Next Stop Will Be KBC!

Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana had been shooting in Lucknow for their upcoming film, Gulabo Sitabo. The duo has been sharing pictures of sunsets and their days in the beautiful city. The megastar received a huge welcome on his arrival to the city. As the Gulabo Sitabo team wraps up the shoot of the film, the Article 15 actor shares pictures with the team. Big B too shared pictures expressing his state of mind.
Speaking of the legendary star’s first look Amitabh Bachchan’s first look from the film, it was released by one of his fan pages. About today, Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram to share some pictures of himself with the team of Gulabo Sitabo as they wrap up the Lucknow schedule of the film. The post read, “It’s a wrap! #GulaboSitabo.” While Gulabo Sitabo has interested many, the film is majorly based in Lucknow. It is based on Gulabo Sitabo - a legendary pair of puppet sisters has been part of Uttar Pradesh's folklore. The film, apparently, is a take-off on these two characters and is believed to be a comedy.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Gulabo Sitabo is written by Juhi Chaturvedi of Piku fame. In the film, Big B will essay the role of the owner of a residential property, Patiala House, while Ayushmann Khurana will essay the role of his tenant. Gulabo Sitabo is scheduled to release in April 2020.
