Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is an avid social media user. From his blogs, to Instagram, he often takes to his official handles to share his life experiences, anecdotes and thoughts on the ongoing matters. On Sunday, he was over the moon as the Indian athletes broke the Asian record for 4x400m relay race at the World Athletics Championships that were held in Budapest, Hungary. Apart from extending his well-wishes he also called out the commentators for not talking about India’s performance.

Taking to the micro-blogging website, the 80-year-old actor shared a tweet heaping praises on India's team for achieving a great feat in the relay race. They also expressed shock at not knowing about it, as many people are still focused on the news about Chandrayaan 3. For the unversed, the team consisted of athletes Muhammed Anas, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal, and Rajesh Ramesh. They impressed everyone with their performance as they finished the race at 2:59:05 and qualified for the maiden final round of the World Championships on the second spot. The first spot was secured by the USA at 2:58:47.
