While speaking to a contestant on the show, namely, Sumit Tadiyal from Uttarakhand, Mr Bachchan opened up life never before. Sumit told him that even though he knew and loved his wife from before, his parents didn’t know about the same, so in a way, his love marriage was shown as an arranged marriage, to the world. Sumit also told the Mr Bachchan that his wife does not take his name till date and addresses him saying, “Suniye ji.”
To which Big B revealed something to him and the entire audience present. He said that he has saved his wife Jaya Bachchan’s number as ‘JB’ on his mobile phone. Yeah, that’s Jaya Bachchan’s initials.
Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan got married 46 years back. They have two children, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Talking about the contestant, Sumit Tadiyal, he walked away with a cash prize of Rs 320000 from the show.
