There’s no stopping for megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The COVID-19 survivor, who’s currently shooting for the reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, has been roped in for Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer magnum opus. Yes, you heard that right! Big B will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film which is helmed by acclaimed director Nag Ashwin. The announcement comes on the day of Vyjayanthi Films completing 50 years in the industry. Taking to Twitter, Big B said that he feels honoured to be a part of their momentous and most ambitious project.

Welcoming Big B into their cast, Vyjayanthi movies Tweeted, “Welcoming with a full heart, the pride of a billion Indians. The Amitabh Bachcha n. Our journey just got BIG-ger!,” replying to which the megastar wrote, “Humbled and filled with pride for the honour to be a part of this venture ..” Big B also Tweeted, “T 3685 - An honour and a privilege to be a part of this momentous & most ambitious venture .. and my greetings for the completion of 50 years for @VyjayanthiFilms .. may you celebrate another 50 .. and on !!#Prabhas @deepikapadukone @nagashwin7 @AshwiniDuttCh @SwapnaDuttCh.”

On July 19, Deepika Padukone had surprised one and all with her next film announcement. Sharing a teaser, DP had captioned, “Beyond Thrilled!Cannot wait for what we believe is going to be an incredible journey ahead… #DeepikaPrabhas @nag_ashwin @vyjayanthimovies @actorprabhas.”

Prabhas, Deepika and Big B starrer film is touted to be a sci-fi film and makers are planning to rope in some more famous celebrities across the country. Reportedly, the makers are set to make an official announcement regarding the entire cast and crew, soon.
