It goes without saying that Amitabh Bachchan is among one of the few superstars, who is loved by people of all ages and across the world. Only recently, the news of him getting hospitalised to undergo a liver treatment had brewed a storm across his well-wishers and the internet. We, at SpotboyE, were the first ones to break this news of Big B getting admitted in Nanavati hospital earlier this week, and with things taking a bright turn, the megastar got discharged on last Saturday. Unsurprisingly, a massive number of concerned fans, on Sunday, gathered outside Big B’s residence to meet him and get a glimpse of him post the treatment. However, the superstar, in a first, couldn’t carry forward his Sunday meeting ritual with fans due to his recovery. And for the gentleman that Big B is, he made it a point to thank, as well as apologised fans for not being able to meet them. Taking to his Twitter account, the actor wrote that since he is still recovering, he couldn’t see the fans outside his house. He also apologised for the same by writing, “I convalesce .. but they still come for the Sunday meet .. my apologies .. could not come out.”

 Elaborating further on his personal blog, Big B wrote, “They have been told since the evening that I shall not be meeting the fans at the gate, yet they come .. my apologies to all for my absence , but convalescing is the direction of the medics .. and keeping their direction, it must be obeyed. It is in inclement weather , yet they come .. they come from all parts, from all regions and beliefs .. their sincerity is never under question .. and neither is their love and affection .. my care and admiration for all .. gratitude is short in size to compliment them ..” He also shared several pictures of his fans that came to meet him and thanked them.
