Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is back to the grind, after recuperating from a liver ailment. Last night, the actor had a flight to catch for Kolkata. He was supposed to attend the Kolkata Film Festival. SpotboyE.com learnt that his plans got canned at the last minute as rains played spoilsport. However, Shah Rukh Khan managed to attend the event.

Well the rains extended a bit too much this year. So last night, the unexpected heavy downpour in the city led to his flight getting cancelled. So Big B had no choice but to sit back home.


Also, the Shahenshah of Hindi cinema completed 50 years in Bollywood yesterday. Social media was bursting with congratulatory wishes for the star. In fact, Big B also took to his blog to update fans on his health.

For those who don’t know, SpotboyE.com had exclusively reported about Amitabh Bachchan’s hospitalization at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai. The actor was rushed to the hospital on Oct 18 and was being treated for a liver ailment. He was discharged on Oct 21.



On the work front, the actor will be seen in the remake of Shakti and will be stepping into Dilip Kumar’s shoes, as reported exclusively by us before. Then, he will also be seen in Gulabo Sitabo that even stars Ayushmann Khurrana. His first look from the film was unveiled recently.
