Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15, which released on June 28, is minting good numbers at the box-office, in spite of being amidst many controversies. The film is inspired by true events based on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution. The film stars Ayushmann in the lead role, playing the character of IPS Officer Ayan Ranjan. Article 15 tells the untold tale of events that are always under the limelight, based on religion and caste discrimination.
Article 15 is all about bringing a change in the system and is quite an inspiring film. Now, food brand Amul, which is known to have a witty take on current affairs and recent movies, has come out with their adaptation of Article 15 poster with an interesting take on the film. The brand took to their social media page and shared a picture wherein the Amul girl can be seen with the caricature of Ayushmann Khurrana in front of a jeep. The ad has an inspiring tagline that reads, “Farq laayenge, Makhan Khaayenge!” and added “The real Article.” The caption for the post read, “#AmulTopical: #Article15, hard hitting Bollywood film! The ad, while being humourous, also has a message for its viewers! In other news, Article 15 was banned in Roorkee post some right-wing organizations protests, and the film’s director Anubhav Sinha filed a case against the district magistrate of Roorkee after the ban. Earlier, the screening of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 came to an abrupt halt as a group entered Inox Multiplex in Kanpur and shouted slogans against the filmmaker.
