Bollywood actors Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur have been ruling the headlines for around two years now. Netizens were left with mixed reactions when their dating reports started surfacing on the internet. While they refused to acknowledge the rumours, videos, and photos of their vacations and date nights often went viral on social media. Well, now about two years later, it is being reported that the couple parted ways in March this year. It seems like the buzz is indeed true. 

According to a report by News18, Ananya and Aditya’s breakup has come as a shock to their close friends. In an interaction with Bombay Times, the friend confirmed that they broke up almost a month ago. The actors are trying to move on. The media publication quoted the friend saying, “They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely.” ALSO READ: OMG! It was last month when rumours surrounding their breakup started surfacing on social media after the 25-year-old actress posted a cryptic note hinting at her breakup with the Aashiqui 2 actor. The note read, “If it is truly meant for you, it will come back to you. It will leave only for the sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn on your own. If it is truly meant for you, it will return even if you’ve pushed it away, even if you’re in denial, even if you assume something so beautiful could never be truly yours – because if it’s truly meant for you, it is never not a piece of you. For those who don’t remember, the speculations regarding their relationship have been doing the rounds ever since they became show stoppers for Manish Malhotra at the Lakme Fashion Week 2023 finale. Even Karan Johar had hinted at their budding romance on his chat show last year when Ananya and Vijay Deverakonda were guests on his chat show Koffee With Karan. 

On the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, co-starring Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. Directed by debutant Arjun Varain Singh, the movie follows the journey of Imaad, Ahana, and Neil as they navigate through life, their relationships, and social media. The movie is currently streaming on Netflix. She has Call Me Bae, Control, and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair in her pipeline.
