Ananya Panday On Dating Rumoured Boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur: ‘Not Someone Who Will Pretend To Have A Relationship Just For Social Media’

The dating rumours between Bollywood actors Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur were yet again ignited when the lovebirds jetted off to an undisclosed location on Wednesday. Videos of them being spotted at the airport instantly went viral, with their fans wondering where the rumoured lovebirds would be celebrating New Year's this year. While they have maintained silence around their dating rumours, they aren’t shying away from spending time together. Now, amidst it all the actress has revealed why she would never talk about her relationship on social media.
In a conversation with India Today, Ananya opened up about modern relationships and revealed the reason behind not wanting to talk about her romantic relationships on her official social media handles. Her answer comes amid her constant linkup rumours with Aashiqui 2 actor Aditya Roy Kapur. She explained how she hates the term situations and went on to confess that she is not on any dating apps. Quoted by Pinkvilla, the 25-year-old actress said, “I'm not on a dating app and nor do I talk about my relationships on social media. I'm not someone who will pretend to have a different relationship status just for the sake of social media.” When asked about it she revealed that she would most definitely feel possessive if her partner likes other girl’s ‘hot pictures’ on the internet. When asked if she would create a fake Instagram handle to stalk her ex-partner or her contemporaries, the Dream Girl 2 actress dismissed it by saying that she has her own Insta account for it and won’t need a fake one.
For those who don’t remember, the speculations regarding their relationship have been doing the rounds ever since they became show stoppers for Manish Malhotra at the Lakme Fashion Week 2023 finale. Even Karan Johar had hinted at their budding romance on his chat show last year when Ananya and Vijay Deverakonda were guests on his chat show Koffee With Karan.
