Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy hosting the quiz-based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 15. It is the grand finale week of the show, and the audiences are eagerly waiting to know the fate of the recent contestant. Throughout the years, the actor has not made meaningful connections with the contestants of the shows but he has also revisited many precious moments from his life. In the latest episode of KBC 15, he welcomed contestant Avinash Bharti, who is not only studying in college but also staying in the same hostel room he did years ago.
It all happened when an IAS aspirant Avinash Bharti was quick to answer the fastest finger round question and was welcomed by the veteran on the seat. After an emotional and overwhelming moment with the host, the contest takes his seat. It is then that Bachchan notices the empty companion seat and asks the contestant about it. He explains how he didn’t bring anyone. Bharti shares that he is one of the lucky ones who got the opportunity to study outside his village and that he promised his mother that he would return only after becoming an IAS officer or winning the reality show. Further in the show, Bharti goes on to share anecdotes from his life. He reveals that he hails from Uttar Pradesh and is currently studying in Delhi. A student of the Kirori Mal College in DU, the IAS aspirant tells the 81-year-old actor that he is not only a junior of his college, but is also staying in the same hostel room that he did back in the day. Reminiscing his college days, Big B shared, “It’s in a corner. Didn’t study a bit. Would escape from the room to go and watch films. All those years spent in college have gone to waste. B.Sc kiye hai, much bhi yaad nahi hain, B.Sc ka B bhi upoyog nahi ho raha hai.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Uunchai alongside Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Currently hosting the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, he has a list of exciting projects ahead of him. He will be seen in movies like Section 84, Ganapath - Part 1, Kalki 2898 AD and the official remake of the hit Hollywood movie The Intern.
