Ananya Panday has become the talk of the town ever since the teaser of her upcoming film Khaali Peeli was released. The actress is receiving praises for portraying yet another unique character that she hasn’t done before. Recently, Ananya shared a few photos on her social media in a desi attire from the sets of Khaali Peeli. The actress is seen in a salwar suit with white chikankari kurta paired with pastel green dhoti-like bottoms and a pink dupatta.
Sporting a big smile, with twinkle in her eyes, the actress captioned the photo and shared, “if everything around you seems dark, look again, you may be the LIGHT @ishaankhatter (always lol) #KhaaliPeeli" The teaser of Khaali Peeli has created quite a buzz across the internet with many lauding Ananya’s spot-on portrayal of a ‘Bambaiya’ girl and treating her fans with yet another different avatar. In her latest pic, the actress is seen standing on a bridge with faraway mountain ranges in the background.
Apart from Khaali Peeli, Ananya has other projects in the pipeline namely, Shakun Batra’s untitled next and the Pan-India film Fighter where she will share the screen with Vijay Deverakonda.

Also, as the makers dropped the teaser of the Khaali Peeli they are yet to unveil the release date, which gives rise to speculation whether they will plan the film to have a digital release or will they wait till the theatres reopen.
Besides this, her cousin Ahaan Panday is planning to set his foot in the industry with the 50th anniversary of the most prestigious production banner Yash Raj Films.
