Ananya Panday Raises Question Over Being Called ‘Struggling Didi’; Actress Has A Message For Haters Filled With ‘Zeher’
Ananya Panday is the latest Bollywood star to appear on Arbaaz Khan’s talk show, Pinch 2. She responded to the mean comments she gets from haters online
Bollywood actor Ananya Panday has managed to win hearts, ever since she marked her acting debut. She won awards for her role in the Dharma Productions film Student of the Year 2. Although Ananya has a massive fanbase that adores her, she also has a long list of haters, who troll her on every statement she makes. Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan’s talk show Pinch 2 welcomed Ananya recently. On the show, the actress was shown some mean comments that she gets from her haters. And she reacted to the mean comments in a savage way.
Arbaaz Khan showed Ananya Panday how a user made fun of her accent. Arbaaz showed her how someone had written that Ananya Panday’s accent made their ears bleed. The SOTY 2 actress went on and apologised. She then said, “I am so sorry, main aapke liye tissue bhejti hu (I'll send over tissues for you).”
Ananya then reacted to someone addressing her as ‘struggling didi’. Panday replied to the user saying ‘struggling didi ki jai ho’ and said, “Haan mujhe struggling didi kyu bulate ho? It's really funny.”
For the unversed, the actress was brutally trolled after her appearance on Rajeev Masand’s actor’s roundtable where she spoke about her dad Chunky Panday’s struggle as an actor. “I have always wanted to be an actor. Just because my dad has been an actor, I will never say no to an opportunity to act. My dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan. So it’s not as easy as people say. Everyone has their own journey and their own struggle," Ananya had said. Responding to Ananya, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi had said, "The difference is ‘jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai (their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled).” Later, Twitterati caught on to Siddhant’s words and have continued to criticise Ananya since then.
In the second season of Arbaaz Khan’s show, actors Rajkummar Rao, Salman Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana have made an appearance. The first season saw Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif and other notable actors reacting to the haters online.
