After getting brutally trolled for saying struggle is not being on Koffee With Karan show, Ananya Panday now says star kids have an advantage
Ananya Panday has once again waded into nepotism controversy. The actress, who was mercilessly trolled for her stance on being a star kid, now agrees that star kids having easy access to the people from the Industry. For the uninitiated, when Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi among others were a part of Rajeev Masand’s roundtable show, the actress was trolled by Siddhant when she was asked about her views on nepotism. She had then said that star kids too have to struggle and her father has never been on the Koffee With Karan show and has never done any Dharma film. It was then MC Sher had given a mic drop reply to her and she was brutally trolled by the netizens.
Now choosing her words wisely, this time Ananya Panday gave a new reply when asked about being a star kid. She told IANS, “I still agree that we have an advantage and we get to meet people. We have easier access to people from the industry as we have grown up around them. But now that I've got that chance, it's unfair for me to waste it. I want to make my father proud.”
“There are so many examples of such talented people who have not come from the film background like Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma and then there are actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who have come from film families and done so well. So, it all comes down to the audience,” she said further.
