Ananya Panday Brutally Trolled By Siddhant Chaturvedi Over Nepotism Debate; MIC DROP, Bro - VIDEO
A popular Bollywood roundtable conference this year was a newcomers only edition. Stars like Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday from Student of the Year 2, Vishal Jethwa from Mardaani 2, Siddhant Chaturvedi from Gully Boy, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan from Soni, Abhimanyu Dassani from Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota, and Saloni Batra from Soni were a part of this interview. Here people talked about the industry and about their struggle and how did they bag their first film. Knowing that Ananya Panday is the only lady in the conference table who is industry ki Beti, the elephant in the room was then introduced which was ‘nepotism.’

The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress who is Chunky Panday’s daughter and made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 was asked to about nepotism. She then spoke in length about nepotism. However, this topic became the food for the naysayers as they trolled her for the comments. While Siddhanth Chaturvedi who was also a part of this interview made a comment on the same which won the Twitterverse. To give a summary of it, she said, “Everyone says that it’s all glamorous and I’ve gotten everything that I wanted. But I’m very grateful that I’m my Dad’s daughter and I wouldn’t want it any other way. When people hate on me for nepotism, I’m not going to shy away that I’m Chunky Pandey’s daughter. My Dad has worked really hard and he’s still working.” She also talked about when SOTY2 was delayed her father didn’t even congratulate her because she thinks the industry is fickle and how indispensable people are.

She continued more by adding, “Just because my Dad is an actor I’m not gonna say no to a film. My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey.” All this while, everybody quietly heard her, later, Siddhant who was sitting next to the actress said, “Everyone has their own struggle. But difference yahi hai ki jahan hamare sapne poore hotein hai, wahan inka struggle shuru hota hai.” Like we said, after this comment, panday was trolled along with a bunch of memes on them while netizens hailed Chaturvedi for his savage reply as he spoke like MC Sher. Since Ananya and Siddhanth are going to share the screen space in Shakun Batra’s next, hope their equation doesn’t hamper their chemistry on screen. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and it is expected to release this year.
