Ananya Panday Says ‘I Am Banned From Doing House Work’ During The COVID-19 Lockdown, Read To Know Why
Ananya Panday shared during the COVID-19 lockdown she was not allowed to work at home, read to know fun deets around it
As soon as the lockdown was announced with the outbreak of COVID-19, many celebs took to their social media accounts giving a glimpse of doing household work and indulging in different activities. But young actress Ananya Panday did not drop any such videos, as she was banned from doing household work as per reports in IANS. SOTY 2 actress revealed her family feels she is not good at things. Further she listed out things she did during the lockdown.
She said, “I think I am banned from doing house work. I don't think anyone in my family would appreciate it if I did any house work because I am not very good at it.” The actress also revealed she helped her sister while cooking, but she did not allow her, later she cleaned her closet and kept her room neat and clean. She also decorated the Christmas tree with her sister. "I tried a little bit of everything, like I helped my sister in cooking. She didn't allow me to do it, but I cleaned my closet. I kept my room really neat and clean. I guess that counts. I decorated my Christmas tree with my sister," she added.
Ananya shared lockdown helped her spend time with her family; she also watched movies and a lot of web series on the OTT platform. She was all praises for web series, Mirzapur and Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.
"I got to spend a lot of time with my family. I got to watch a lot of movies and do a lot of stuff. I finished watching 'Mirzapur', both the seasons, in three days. I was obsessed with it. I think it's such a cool show. It's so well shot and all the performances are amazing. I also watched 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story', which I thought was really interesting. Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwanthary's performances were amazing," said Ananya. Ananya also praised her mother Bhavana Panday for her acting chops, in the web series, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, she said, "I was in the show and I thought that when it would come, I wouldn't watch it, but I couldn't stop watching it. I binge-watched it in one night. It was really fun."
After watching a list of web content, Ananya also expressed she won’t mind working in web series, she said, "I watched a lot of content online. There is so much freedom to tell different stories, so I would love to do something like a web show. I am just waiting for the right one." Khaali Peeli which released during the lockdown on OTT platform, she shared the movie was perfect for the silver screen release and was full on masala entertainer.
