Angad Bedi Says It Was Difficult To Explain His Daughter Mehr The Reason For His Absence While Battling COVID-19: ‘These Are Emotions That Break You’
In a recent interview, Angad Bedi said that it was difficult to be away from his wife Neha Dhupia and daughter Mehr while he was battling COVID-19
Angad Bedi, who recently recovered from COVID-19, met his wife Neha Dhupia and daughter Mehr after spending 16 days in isolation. He took to his Instagram to share an adorable video of him meeting and hugging Mehr after days. He mentioned that there was no better feeling than coming back home to family. Now, in a recent interview, Angad Bedi opened up on the battle with COVID-19 and said that it was difficult to make Mehr understand why he couldn’t see her while he was battling COVID-19.
While speaking to Hindustan Times, Angad Bedi said that while he, Neha Dhupia and Mehr were all in Delhi, they had to be in two different places, as Angad was in isolation. “It was difficult to be away from them and be in two different places in the same city. Mehr is just two and a half, and she doesn’t understand why her father cannot come and see her. These are emotions that just break you.” He said that it was difficult to explain Mehr the reason for his absence during those days, and she would question why he isn’t coming to see her.
“There were a couple of times where she would ask, ‘Papa, why are you not coming to see me?’ I’d say that I’m not feeling too well, but the minute I said that, she’d be like, ‘But I’ve also been unwell in the past, and been with you’. Such innocent questions that a child always has... it was difficult for her and very difficult for me,” he said.
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi welcomed their baby girl Mehr in November 2018. The two often post the most adorable pictures and videos with their daughter, which often go viral on social media.
