Now, makers of Angrezi Medium dedicated a heartfelt post on social media to the late actor, remembering him and thanking him.
The Instagram post was shared by producer Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. Irrfan had also won the award for the Best actor in leading role (Male) for Hindi Medium at the 63rd Filmfare Awards 2018. Sharing and celebrating Irrfan’s win, the makers of Angrezi Medium wrote, “Celebrating this win and remembering the last, from one milestone to another, you took the world by storm with your limitless talent. We are so honoured to be a part of your cinematic journey.”
The makers further thanked the late actor for celebrating life, and enjoying it through all that happened. “But specially a big thank you for so much more, for celebrating life and laughing through it all. Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan’s son Babil was seen wearing the late actor’s outfit at the Filmfare Awards. He penned a note on social media revealing the story behind the clothes, and wrote how his father disliked participating in fashion shows, but did so anyway, in these clothes to break out of his comfort zone. Babil said that he too was breaking out of his comfort zone. “That is exactly what I was doing last night, tearing though into new spaces that I’m uncomfortable with,” he wrote.
