Anupam Kher Breaks Down At Best Friend Satish Kaushik’s Funeral, Actor Is Inconsolable As He Tries To Control His Tears
Bollywood veterans Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushi took Bollywood by storm in the 80s and 90s with their comic timings and powerful performances. Kaushik’s untimely demise left the former heartbroken. He was the first one to inform the world of the late actor’s sudden passing and the first one to reach at his Versova residence to console the filmmaker’s wife and daughter. He even spoke to the paparazzi stationed outside Kaushik’s home to cover his funeral.

Now, a video is doing the rounds on the internet where Kher couldn’t help but break down while bidding adieu to his best friend of 45 years. The actor looked inconsolable as he was seen sitting in an ambulance with the late filmmaker’s mortal remains. He couldn’t help but shed tears and people around him tried to calm him down. Anupam had taken to social media to share an adorable video, where he can be seen massaging Satish’s head. Fans expressed their sadness and showered the actor with motivational messages. For the unversed, at the age of 66, Kaushik breathed his last after a heart attack when he was visiting a friend in Gurugram, Delhi. Shedding light on what actually happened on the night of March 8th, Kaushik’s secretary was quoted by the media publication saying, “Satish ji went off to sleep at around 9.40 pm last night and called me to say that he was feeling restless around 10.00 pm. I was with him throughout, I didn't imagine we'd lose him like this.”

He is survived by his wife Sashi and their 10-year-old daughter Vanshika. 

For the unversed, Satish Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. After starting his career in theatre, he went on to make a name for himself in Bollywood as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter and a comedian. He has movies like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Brick Lane, Saajan Chale Sasural, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Tere Naam among many others to his credit. He will be last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
