After affecting China, the Coronavirus is now spreading like wildfire in the other parts of the country. India which was considered to be high at risk has now been affected with Coronavirus and this scare is taking a toll on people. Just recently it was reported that a person was found positive in Delhi and ended up spreading quite a few. However, speaking on the same, Anupam Kher who usually shares a video and speak on the issues that are a matter of concern was seen speaking on the coronavirus.

The actor shared a video on his Twitter handle while asking people to stay safe and take precautions by following a simple step. In the video, Anupam Kher is heard saying that we need to go back to our Indian tradition which is greeting people with a ‘namaste’ instead of a handshake or a hug. He also said in the video that since the deadly virus is in the air and is spreading like a wildfire, it is best to say a Namaste so that there won’t be any physical contact.

While sharing the video on his handle, he tweeted, “Of late I am being told by lots of people to keep washing hands to prevent any kind of infection. I do that in any case. But also want to suggest the age old Indian way of greeting people called #Namaste. It is hygienic, friendly & centres your energies. Try it. #caronavirus”


Meanwhile, according to a report in Economic Times, today's Health ministry has updated that the number of infected people in India is at 29 now, it appears that after infecting nearly a lakh and killing over 3,000 worldwide, the virus has now begun giving India the full play.
