Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 20 March 2024: Anuj Tells Anu That He Is Marrying Shruti For Aadhya; Vanraj Gets Happy Knowing His Ex-Wife Is Struggling

Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap. Today’s episode starts with Anu deciding to go to dance class and Yashdeep decides to help. Anupamaa refuses his help, she tells him not to feel bad as just like everyone destiny also gave her gifts. She goes on to praise the decorations. Watching Anu, Yashdeep gets angry at Shruti for ruining the former’s birthday party.
Vanraj gets to know that Shruti and Anuj are getting married, which leaves him surprised. Leela keeps on telling him about it and mentions how during the entire thing Anuj stayed quiet. As Vanraj loudly wonders if it might be Anuj’s plan, Kinjal tells her father-in-law that Anuj was clueless. Vanraj proceeds to talk ill about Anu and mentions how she was the one who wanted to leave the Shah house and become a Kapadia. He starts liking the fact that Anu is struggling. As Yashdeep drops by the dance academy to meet Dia, Kinjal takes a stand for Anu in front of Leela and Vanraj. Vanraj warns Kinjal to stop disrespecting him and Leela. She tells him that he needs to contact Paritosh or else she will be moving to India with Pari. She goes on to tell him that if her doesn’t surrender soon, she will punish him a lot. Just then Paritosh calls Vanraj. Yashdeep and Dia talk about Anupamaa while watching the latter dance. Dia tells Yashdeep that women can’t live without two things, God and a friend. Yashdeep decides to become Anu’s friend. Back at the Shah house, Dimpy, Pakhi, Kavya, and Babuji along with the kids are excited to visit America. They talk to Vanraj and Leela. As the episode comes to an end, Anuj comes to meet Anu. He explains to her how Shruti took care of him and Aadhya. He credits Shruti for handling him and his house. He tells her that he has decided to marry Shruti for Aadhya’s sake. Anu asks Anuj if he loves Shruti. He tells her that he really respects her and calls her a friend. Anu tells Anuj that she is very happy with his decision. She asks him not to back out of this decision.
In the upcoming episode of the show, Beeji says that they will have to close the restaurant as they had no idea Yashpal had taken such a huge loan. Anu comes into the restaurant and sees Yashdeep looking tense. She suggests to him that they should host a special Holi event. Anu tells Vanraj to inform Toshu to return home. Vanraj asks her if she will tell Anuj to talk to his client into taking back the case if Toshu comes back.
