It is already known that the two met at Phantom Films, where Shweta was working as a Script Consultant. But do you know who introduced them to each other? One of the ‘Phantoms’, Anurag Kashyap!

Says a source, “Anurag, who had been guiding Rohit in filmmaking techniques, introduced him to Shweta. They hit it off right from the word ‘Go’. They are very serious about each other, but want to focus on their careers right now.”
On her part, Shweta is reluctant to talk about the relationship. When we met her recently, at the launch of a short film titled Interior Cafe – Night in ITC, Parel, she said, “I have known Rohit for close to 2 years now. But I don’t want to talk more about it.”

While the actress is in a happy space personally, her professional life is also looking up. She quit Phantom Films in April to play Princess Nandini in TV show Chandragupta Maurya. Shweta will also be seen in a pivotal role in Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan-starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
And as far as the short film is concerned, she has co-produced it along with director Adhiraj Bose. Says Shweta, “This is the first time I have handled production -- getting various permissions, finalising locations, working behind the camera, the works. Adhiraj and I have known each other for 11 years. Getting to work with Naseeruddin Shah (after Iqbal in 2005), Shernaz Patel and Naveen Kasturia was an awesome experience.”
