Anushka Sharma announces her next production

A couple of months ago, SpotboyE had told you about Anushka Sharma getting ready to start her next project.
It’s official now -- the actress herself announced it on Twitter:
Titled Phillauri, the movie is a romcom set in Punjab and it’s being directed by debutant Anshai Lal, who has previously served as an assistant director on Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006) and Housefull (2010).
Though Ayushmann Khurrana was the original choice to play the male lead (Anushka Signs Ayushmann, Dec 16th ), due to a dispute regarding remuneration, he was shown the door (Anushka shows the door to Ayushmann, Jan 21st).

SpotboyE was also the first one to tell you that Life Of Pi actor Suraj Sharma had been roped in to replace Ayushmann (Anushka finalises Suraj to replace 'pricey' Ayushmann, Jan 27th ). The movie also stars singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh in a pivotal role.
