Anushka Sharma may have stayed away from the silver screen for quite some time now, but that doesn’t stop her from making it to the headlines. And if you happen to be her follower on Instagram, you must be aware of her colourful and jolly persona. Well, her latest post is on the similar lines. We have often seen celeb reacting to their trolls on various instances, however, Anushka, for a change, is out there spreading some positivity.
The Zero star has now come up with a digital initiative called Love&LightProject, through which the actor-turned-producer is keen on spreading only positivity and inclusivity. From creating relevant content to teaming up with like-minded people, this concept will be an initiative to spread all things positive on the internet. In a video shared by the actor on her Instagram, she could be seen reading some motivational messages that are sure to bring a smile on your face. Check out the post below.
Upon being asked about her thoughts on the current condition of social media, Anushka said, “Digital boom has incredible benefits. It has brought the world closer and it gives us a tremendous scope of connecting and collaborating and creating communities of like-minded people. So, yes when many say that the internet can be an extremely negative place, I feel we have to use the medium for the potential that it can unlock. Social media has the power to influence the youth, culture and society and if we look to trigger positive conversations, it will be hugely constructive for society at large. Small gestures of inclusivity, new connections, gratitude for all that we have, are conversations that need to happen on social media. Love&LightProject is a social experiment to constructively connect as human beings and not subject each other to negativity. I believe that through positivity and positive affirmations, our world would thrive better.”
