Being a celebrity comes with a lot of fame and popularity, but it also paves the way to online trolling. Every celeb faces trolls on social media and none of them are immune to it. While some celebrities have a low tolerance for trolling on social media, most of them choose to ignore them and not give them much importance.
Social media negativity is inevitable when one is in the public eye. Celebrities get trolled for a number of reasons- their looks, weight, outfits! With Anushka Sharma’s massive fan following on social media, she is bound to have millions of people praising and criticizing her daily. The Bollywood actress recently spoke to Filmfare about how she deals with trolls on social media and says, “Honestly, I don’t pay attention to nasty comments. Trolling says a lot about society at large and about the people, who make such comments. Anyone who has half a brain knows that there’s no sense in doing something like this." The actress further added, “It’s an extremely mean thing to do to someone. But unfortunately, we’re living in times where we find it so easy to be mean because there’s no accountability or any kind of responsibility involved. The sad part is also that they’re half-baked and uniformed opinions coming out with such great Èlan and confidence.”
The actress was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s film Zero along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Her film failed to do well at the box office. She is currently in the US with her hubby Virat Kohli for T20 games against West Indies and the two were recently spotted at the Miami airport.
