Anushka and Virat welcomed their baby girl Vamika in January this year, and there is a lot of curiosity among fans to see a glimpse of their little munchkin. However, Virat and Anushka had made it clear that they would be keeping their child away from the media glare. Now, ahead of Virat Kohli’s match, Anushka Sharma arrived in Ahmedabad with their daughter Vamika to witness the match between India and England at the Motera Cricket Stadium.
While Anushka Sharma is often seen accompanying Virat Kohli for his matches, and is also seen cheering for him during the match, looks like their daughter Vamika will also be joining her this time. Fans are hoping that they get a glimpse of their little bundle of joy. Meanwhile, Anushka and Virat had requested the media and paparazzi to respect their privacy and to refrain from clicking and sharing any pictures of their baby girl.
A few weeks ago, Anushka and Virat posted a lovely picture of themselves holding their daughter, while revealing her name. The doting parents beamed with joy, while the baby’s face was kept hidden. “We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy,” wrote Anushka.
It was on January 11 that Anushka and Virat welcomed their first child at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Virat broke the news through a social media post. “We are thrilled to share with you that we've been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat,” read the post.
