On January 11, Bollywood and cricket world’s one of the most adorable couple – Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli – welcomed their first little bundle of joy. Now almost after 20 days of welcoming their baby girl, Anushka and Virat have shared the very first picture with their munchkin while announced her name. Just a few moments back, Anushka took to her Insta account to unveil the first family picture and reveal the name of their baby girl. Virushka have named their daughter Vamika.
Captioning the adorable photo, Anushka Sharma wrote, “We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes !
Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy.”
Earlier announcing the arrival of their baby girl, Virat Kohli had penned a note in Hindi and English that read, “We are thrilled to share with you that we've been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic)."
Soon after welcoming their princess, Virushka had sent a thank you to the shutterbugs while requesting privacy for their baby girl. The note read, “Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support. While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child.
