Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli have been making the headlines ever since it was rumoured that they are all set to welcome their second child. The couple, who often keep their personal life away from the limelight are yet to officially make the announcement. Now days after AB De Villiers issued a clarification about his statement on the rumoured pregnancy, industrialist Harsh Goenka has now joined the bandwagon.

Taking to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, Goenka shared a cryptic note hinting towards the pregnancy. Without taking any names, he stated that a cricketer and film star are all set to welcome their baby in the next few weeks. Through his hashtags, he hinted that the baby will be born in London and not India. He wrote, “A new baby is to be born in the next few days! Hope the baby takes India to great heights like the greatest cricketing father. As soon as his cryptic tweet went viral, netizens were quick to take to the comment section of his post to question him. While many stated that they baby can grow-up to be a normal person, others asked the businessman since when has he been a Virat Kohli fan. One said, “Or the baby can be an ordinary person too without shouldering the burden of his or her parents’ achievements.” Another commented, “Sir, leave it to the baby to decide. For the unversed, having tied the knot in 2017 in a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Kohli and Sharma welcomed their first child, a daughter Vamika in January 2021. The toddler is kept away from the limelight as the celebrity couple released a statement requesting the paparazzi to not click her photos. The second pregnancy rumours started floating around when Anushka was seen wearing baggy outfits throughout the World Cup 2023 tournament. 

On the work front, last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma has Chakda Xpress in her pipeline. She will be seen essaying the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming sports film. Set to stream on Netflix, the movie is directed by Prosit Roy.
