Anushka Sharma was all pride and joy at a recent pre-award bash as she spoke about bagging Sultan (Anushka Sharma opposite Salman in Sultan, January 8). The actress said, “There is nobody like Salman Khan. I’m thrilled to be working with him.” With Sultan, Anushka becomes one of the few actresses to share screen space with all the 3 Khans – she worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and with Aamir Khan in PK. This is surely another feather in her cap.
And what about the recent buzz that Sultan is a 2-heroine film? Anushka clarified saying, “Sultan is just about me.”
The NH10 actress seemed to be in a jubilant mood at the Filmfare pre-award bash (and we’re guessing Sultan has a lot to do with it). Anushka hugged her ex-flame and Dil Dhadakne Do co-star Ranveer Singh as their paths crossed at the red carpet.
Ranveer may have dressed in an understated manner but he was as gregarious as ever. He made 4 rounds of the red carpet – once with Sonam Kapoor, next with Karan Johar, then with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and finally, with Ronit Roy and his wife Neelam.
Sonakshi Sinha, Athiya Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadda, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira, and many others were present at the do.
