AR Rahman Dedicates Two Bollywood Numbers To Chennai Super Kings' Duo MS Dhoni And Suresh Raina, More Deets Inside
With the ongoing Indian Premier League 2021, though without the spectators in the stadium, the spirit for the game of cricket continues to remain high. Indian cricketers MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina who are the key players of Chennai Super Kings will be receiving a special gift from music maestro AR Rahman. The Oscar-winning composer has dedicated his songs to both of them, who are all set to play a match against Punjab Kings today. He dedicated the track Chale Chalo from Laagan to MS Dhoni, focusing on the unity one gets to see among the players.

While he dedicated Mangta Hai Kya from the movie Rangeela to Suresh Raina, as he recalled the team used to listen to them a lot from the movie. AR Rahman dedicated these songs to the cricketing legends while he featured on the Cricket Live segment, said, “I would like to dedicate the song 'Chale Chalo' from the movie Lagaan to MS Dhoni, as it motivates people to play cricket together. And for Suresh Raina, I would like to dedicate the song 'Mangta Hai Kya', because whenever I went to Bangalore, they were listening to a lot of songs from Rangeela.”

Hope this kind gesture of the ace composer boosts the morale of the CSK players as they play their upcoming match tonight at 7:30 pm.

Seen along with him jamming was Australian player Brett Lee playing the guitar. The duo jammed on the popular number, Muqabla. Bret’s inclination towards the music was earlier witnessed in 2006 when he had collaborated with legendary singer Asha Bhosle and crooned a duet titled, You are the One for Me.  ALSO READ: MS Dhoni Gets Clicked Arriving In Rajasthan; Fan Says ‘Logo Ko Apne Jaan Se Jyda Dhoni Ko Dekhne Ki Padi Hai’ As Mob Runs Wild Sans Face Masks
