Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan are the offspring of renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, have recently voiced their perspectives on nepotism, emphasizing that attributing an actor's achievements solely to their family connections in the Bollywood industry is unjust. The Tanaav actor said, "Certainly, opportunities may arise when your father is established in a particular profession, much like in any other field." In an interview on Timeout With Ankit, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan, siblings of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, acknowledged the challenges faced by individuals with industry connections, despite not achieving the same level of success as their elder brother. They emphasized that having a family background in Bollywood facilitates networking, drawing parallels to professions like medicine or law where familial connections can offer access. Speaking about the same Arbaaz said, "Meeting someone becomes easier if your father is part of the industry, but that doesn't guarantee work." He further emphasized that having a Bollywood connection cannot ensure a successful career spanning 25 years. Lamenting the misconception, he further adds, "While it may provide an initial break, it cannot sustain and build your career." Despite acknowledging that he and Sohail may not have reached the same level of success as other superstars or their brother Salman Khan, he highlighted their continuous presence in the industry, stating, "We are still here, working and engaged in various projects. In reality, no one receives favours without merit.
Arbaaz Khan recently got married to his lady love Sshura Khan in a private ceremony comprising of his close family members.
