In a legal turn of events, former Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Aaliya Siddiqui finds herself facing a non-bailable warrant (NBW) issued by the Mumbai civil court due to her conspicuous absence from proceedings related to an alleged financial fraud. The Andheri court has temporarily halted the execution of the NBW, providing a reprieve until the upcoming court date. The genesis of this legal predicament traces back to her involvement in producing the movie Holy Cow alongside co-producer Manju M Garhwal. In 2019, Aaliya purportedly borrowed money from Manju's parents, resulting in a financial dispute that has now escalated to a legal battle. Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife steadfastly refuses to settle the outstanding 31 lakhs, prompting the issuance of the NBW. Manju M Garhwal sheds light on the unfolding saga, recounting the inception of the issue in 2019 during the movie's production. Despite a longstanding friendship dating back to 2005, tensions arose as the film encountered financial turbulence. Aaliya sought financial aid from Manju's parents, triggering a rift that eventually led to attempts to remove Manju from the project. Subsequent legal action ensued, culminating in the issuance of a post-dated cheque (PDC) by Aaliya, which ultimately bounced.

The unpaid sum amounts to 31 lakhs and 68 thousand, with Aaliya reportedly evading communication attempts from Manju, even failing to appear in court. Notably, even Nawazuddin Siddiqui has remained unresponsive to the situation. Manju has escalated matters further by filing a complaint with the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE).




In terms of her personal life, Aaliya Siddiqui's romantic involvement with an Italian partner remains a talk in town as well. While she has chosen not to disclose the identity of her beau, she openly shares glimpses of her newfound happiness, expressing joy in embracing this new chapter of her life.
