Arjun Called Up Ex-Flame Sonakshi, But She Said ‘NO’
When Sonakshi Sinha turned down an offer to act opposite Arjun Kapoor in Anees Bazmee’s Mubaraka, the decision was attributed to her bitter break-up with the film’s hero. But the real reason is very different. Arjun did call Sonakshi and requested her to do the film, but she decided against it, as she was not very happy with her role in it.

However, SpotboyE.com has it that the ‘real’ reason behind Sona’s refusal is not even remotely personal. So, what’s it, you ask? Here’s the full story:
Soon after Anees approached Sonakshi, Arjun also called her up. The Ki & Ka actor, we hear, requested her to take up the offer. The two, who have moved on with their respective lives, chatted for a while and Sona even promised to give it a serious thought.
However, after reading the script, she decided to disappoint both Arjun and Anees. Reason: The film has 3 heroines and Sonakshi wasn’t sure how much substance her role will have in such a scenario. Considering the fact that she is doing heroine-oriented films like Akira -- she is even playing the title role in it -- Mubaraka’s script didn’t interest Sonakshi.

Mubaraka has Arjun in a double role and his real real-life chacha Anil Kapoor playing his uncle. This is the second time that Boney Kapoor's son will essay two avatars in one venture, the first occasion was Aurangzeb.
