Self-acclaimed critic Kamaal R. Khan has been under the scanner for maligning Bollywood stars repeatedly. Several court cases have been filed against him by celebrities. It was recently that Bollywood star Salman Khan filed a defamation case against KRK. Amidst the controversy, KRK thanked actor Govinda for extending support. The Coolie No 1 actor clarified he has not had a chat with KRK for years. Post that, KRK made a tweet and thanked actor Arjun Kapoor for calling him in his dire times.

A trade source reveals that given the volatile situation, KRK has resorted to name-dropping. The source debunked the theory about Arjun Kapoor calling KRK and said it is “absolutely untrue.” The trade source says, “KRK should show proof that Arjun Kapoor has called him because we all know that he didn’t. He is just taking Arjun’s name because he is facing a case from Salman Khan. He wants to unnecessarily stir up controversy and it’s in bad taste.”

For the unversed, KRK had tweeted, “Thank you so much @arjunk26 Bhai for your call and long discussion. Now I understood that you are only my real friend in Bollywood. And you are only real MARD who is not scared of anyone. Now I will never ever criticise your film.”


Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor had spoken about KRK during his appearance in one of the seasons of Karan With Koffee. When Arjun had graced the show with Ranveer Singh, in one segment, the Ishqbaaz actor revealed how KRK had said that ‘if Arjun Kapoor can become an actor then anyone can become one.’ Talking about Arjun Kapoor, the actor was seen in Sardar Ka Grandson and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar recently.
