With this, on a cooking show, Arjun Kapoor revealed that he once weighed 150 kilos and looked at food for comfort after his parents separated.

On Disovery+’s new show Star vs Food, Arrjun Kapoor appeared with Chef Gulaam Gouse Deewani and cooked food for uncle Sanjay Kapoor and aunt Maheep Kapoor. Here he shared some of his childhood memories. Recollecting how his eating habits went out of control, he shared, "It reached a point where I developed asthma, I developed injuries because of it and I reached 150 kgs by the time I was 16 years old."

The Sardar Ka Grandson actor also spoke about his parents, Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor's split and how he turned to food for comfort. He said, "When my parents split up, I looked at food for comfort. I got caught up in the way I felt emotionally so I started eating and then I really enjoyed eating." Also adding, "Fast food culture came into India at that point in time and fast food is fast food, you can go after school and keep eating.
