Arshad Warsi Shares His Funny Take On Ranbir Kapoor-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal; Actor Says, ‘She Slapped Him More’
Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi recently got together with Manoj Bajpayee and Aditya Roy Kapur for an interview with Bollywood Hungama. They opened up about watching Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and shared their take of working with the filmmaker if he offers them an interesting character. For those who don’t know, the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer was widely discussed on the internet for their problematic plotline and misogynistic dialogues.  

Talking to the entertainment portal, Arshad spoke about a funny observation he made while watching the film. He revealed that in the movie, Ranbir’s character Ranvijay Singh Balbir doesn’t hit Rashmika’s character Geetanjali as much as she slaps him. He went on to add how he looks at films as ‘complete entertainment’. While discussing if he would ever work with Vanga, Bajpayee said it would depend on the type of script he is offered. Quoted by Pinkvilla, he said, “You cannot just go by the name, it also depends on what is being offered. If everything is good then why not.” Aditya added that they should be excited about the script after reading it.  Arshad also shared, “If it is something that is beyond something like there are things we like to see but not do. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. Released on 1 December 2023. the movie has garnered a lot of mixed chatter because of its toxic and ignorant dialogues and plotline. The movie has become one of the highest-grossing movies of 2023 in Bollywood. On the work front, Arshad Warsi will be next seen in the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle.
