Article 370 To Be Revoked In Jammu And Kashmir: Raveena Tandon And Richa Chadha React
Earlier today, Home Minister Amit Shah announced that Article 370 that grants Jammu and Kashmir special status will be revoked amid major ruckus in the Rajya Sabha. Under the proposed law, Jammu and Kashmir will now be a Union Territory with the legislature, and not a state. Ladakh will be a Union Territory without legislation.

According to the latest updates in TOI, "Article 370 to be scrapped: Jammu & Kashmir no longer a state, to be a Union Territory with the legislature; and Ladakh to be a Union Territory without legislature." A ruckus in Rajya Sabha followed after Amit Shah made the announcement.

Following the announcement actresses, Raveena Tandon, Richa Chadha and Indian wrestler Babita Phogat, reacted to it.

Raveena Tandon posted a bunch of Indian flags to her Twitter feed.

Richa Chadha wrote, “On a serious note, if you're feeling helpless, don't. I believe in Providence, I will pray for peace. Pray. It's not illegal, it's under your control and anyone who tells you not to, is anti-human, so don't listen to DRUIDS!”

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli tweeted about history unfolding in front of our eyes. In another tweet, he also wrote that he hopes and prays there is peace and stability in the region finally.
