Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer KL Rahul got married on January 23 in an intimate ceremony at the Shetty's Khandala farmhouse. They exchanged wedding vows in front of family members and a few close friends. Reportedly, there were only around 70 guests at the ceremony and it was reported that some of them gave expensive gifts to the couple. There were rumorus of Salman Khan gifting Athiya and Rahul audi worth Rs 1.64 crore.
Not just that, rumour also had it that doting father Suniel Shetty gave a lavish apartment worth a whopping Rs 50 crore to the newlyweds. But are these reports really true? As reported by Koimoi, these reports are absolutely false and baseless. In fact, a source close to the actress revealed to the portal that Athiya and KL Rahul currently live on rent contrary to reports of them living in a Rs 50 crore bungalow. The insider added, “Rahul and Athiya live in a rented house on Carter Road in Bandra. That’s where they live. Earlier, it was reported that Athiya and KL received Chopard Watch worth Rs 30 lakh from Jackie Shroff, a diamond bracelet worth a whopping Rs 1.5 crore from Arjun Kapoor, and Rs 2.17 crore BMW car from Virat Kohli, and a lot more.
Meanwhile, the couple tied the knot after dating for nearly four years. Both Athiya and KL shared their stunning photos from mandap on social media alongside a heartfelt note. The duo is expected to host a grand reception after IPL.
