Atithi Bhooto Bhava: Scam 1992 Fame Pratik Gandhi CONFIRMS His Next Project With Jackie Shroff; Shoot Begins In Mathura - EXCLUSIVE

Three Gujarati actors of three generations have come together to whip up a spooky comedy called Atithi Bhooto Bhava. It is directed by Hardik Gajjar, a VFX supervisor turned director. This is Hardik’s feature film debut and also Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story star Pratik Gandhi’s debut in a Hindi feature film.
Interestingly Pratik’s co-stars in Atithi Bhooto Bhava are also Gujarati. Jackie Shroff’s father was Gujarati while young Sharmin Segal who is the niece of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also half-Gujarati. Her mother is Bela Segal who is Bhansali’s sister. The three are now shooting for the film in Mathura.
Speaking about the project, Pratik tells me, “Atithi Bhooto Bhava is a romantic comedy. This is the only thing I can reveal as of now.” We eagerly await more news and details of this project.
Meanwhile, reports on the Internet also suggested that Pratik Ganshi will be starring in a series based on Vikas Swaroop’s novel Six Suspect. However, while speaking to Subhash K Jha for SpotboyE, Pratik Gandhi said that nothing as such has been finalized yet. “Well, I am in talks with them. That’s all. Nothing has been finalized as yet. So, I don’t know where this report of my signing the series has come from,” he said.
Pratik Ganshi starrer Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story , directed by Hansal Mehta, is garnering praise from one and all. Manoj Bajpayee revealed he enjoyed watching the series. “I really enjoyed Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992. Hansal and his son Jai have given us a solid entertainer with a fabulous storyline.It made me realize that writers rule on OTT. Without fantastic writing , you can’t move an inch on OTT. Scam proved it,” he said.
