Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap are adorbs! They are often spotted sharing throwback snaps of each other or together on Instagram which is backed with a surreal and beautiful story that soaks everyone in love. Similarly, Tahira once again took everyone down the memory lane as she celebrates her 20 years OG anniversary with Ayushmann today and to mark this special day, she shared a beautiful slideshow video on her account, telling us how it all started with an ‘umm…’ The video comprises of some old photos back from their college days till date.
It also has some childhood photos of Ayushmann and Tahira which looks quite endearing. The video has Tahira’s voice in the background where she is telling that it all started 20 years back, in 2001, at 1:48 AM over an awkward landline conversation where they both said ‘umm’ to each other. She thought that expressing love was too cheesy and hence, would prefer saying ‘umm’ instead of ‘I love you’. However, in the video, she did say the three magical words to the actor.
Sharing the video on her page, she captioned it as, “Haters will say it’s so cheesy! Well I have been there too, but it’s amazing to be on this side of the spectrum... such a sucker for love I am hopelessly in love with you @ayushmannk #happyanniversary #oganniversary #20years” The Vicky Donor actor replied, “Class 12 board exams time”. He even shared her post on his Instagram stories where he wrote, “It started during our board exams of class 12. Umm’ followed by a heart emoticon.
Writing about their love story, Tahira had written in India Today in 2016: “Both of us attended the same Physics tuition class when we were in the 12th standard. It was a batch of around 60 students and when I first met Ayushmann I thought his name was Abhishek. Both me and my friend had a crush on him but outwardly ignored him throughout the year. I later discovered that he also had a crush on me.” She also mentioned that they didn’t talk for a year and that’s how it would have remained if their story hadn’t taken a filmi twist.
