Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Yami Gautam starrer Bala is slated to release next week. Film’s trailer was followed by Sunny Singh’s film, Ujda Chaman based on a similar plot. Soon after both the trailers hit the web, the makers got into a legal tussle over the release of their respective films. Apart from having a similar plot for two different films, the film was also set to clash at the box-office. Thanks to Ujda Chaman makers, who decided to pull the forward and decided to release it a week before Ayushmann’s Bala.

As there’s a week to go, Ayush’s colleagues and friends are not leaving a single chance to promote the film in their unique way. Earlier, Ayushmann Khurrana had taken a dig at the makers of Ujda Chaman and had slammed then for calling the character ‘takla’. In his statement, Ayushmann believed that the word 'takla' is quite derogatory, which means it does not celebrate self-love.

Speaking to media at the recently held press conference, Ayushmann had said, “It isn't about just receding hair or baldness. It's about loving and discovering yourself more than anything else. We shot our film first, announced our film first. There's just one line which is similar otherwise it's a different film. I've seen the South (Kannada) film after we completed the shoot. Once you see the film you'll realise (the difference).”
