is surely not a small achievement, as in today’s times when attracting audience
to theatres has become a challenging job, a young actor like Tiger Shroff has
managed to set the cash registers ringing, on Day 1 of the film’s release.
Is it Tiger’s fan following in the youth or his real life love story with Disha Patani which has pulled the crowd to the theatre? Well, whatever the reason is, it has worked brilliantly for Team Baaghi 2.
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor was the only young star till date who had managed an opening to Rs 20 crore and up with films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Besharam. Tiger has evidently beaten him and taken that spot.
SpotboyE.com Editor, Vickey Lalwani, reviewed the film with 3 stars and had words of appreciation including for Tiger Shroff. He wrote, “It's really good news for Jackie and Tiger Shroff's fans. Tiger is here to stay. Tongues have been wagging in the industry that he looks like a girl, fails to emote, and blah, blah, blah. But Baaghi 2 catapults him into the actor's bracket. Ahmed Khan (director) projects him as the new angry young man and he delivers."
We’re sure producer Sajid Nadidadwala must have popped champagne by now!
