Bachchan requests Gayle to be kind to India in T20 semi-final!

Every Indian loves Gayle for his antics on and off the field--- but if there's one day that we want him out cheaply especially after that unforgettable golden knock by Virat Kohli on Sunday--- is tomorrow.
So yeah, Amitabh Bachchan ne bhi unko bol hi diya. The two of them were discussing cricket when they met on Monday(Hey Flintoff, this picture will tell you who is Amitabh Bachchan, Mar 28) and Big B told the WI opener: Be kind to India on Thursday!

We all know how Gayle has demolished the opposition time and again with his barrage of sixes and fours.
Okay, so let's give you the entire lowdown of what all happened when AB Sr met CG and how it all led to that 'wonderful' statement by India's revered star.

We hear, it was director Apoorva Lakhia who facilitated the meeting. You see, the filmmaker is rather close to Gayle and when the West Indies batsman wished to meet the megastar, Apoorva was more than happy to oblige.

So Gayle and Kunal Sharma (the owner of Spartan Bats) met Big B at Janak, his office in Juhu on Monday night. The Piku actor hosted them at the suite on the first floor of his office.
We hear, the four gentlemen chatted away for a good 2 hours over kebabs, cheese pops and wine. And what was the talk of the evening? Movies, cricket and everything in between.

Bachchan regaled Gayle with stories of his trip to Jamaica way back in 1984 when the superstar had gone to the Caribbean island for a show. He told Gayle how he had received a warm welcome in the country.
The star cricketer too reciprocated saying that he always feels at home in India as he is showered with love and affection.
Slowly, the chat steered towards the ongoing T20 World Cup.
Well aware of the gay abandon with which Gayle hits the ball out of the ground, Big B told him that he should be kind to India in the upcoming T20 semi-final! All in good jest, and the two had a good laugh.
While the four were engrossed in their conversation inside, a huge crowd gathered outside Janak to catch a glimpse of them together.

At the end of the evening, Big B gifted the cricketer an autographed copy of B Seventy and a feww other books as a memento.
Well, Gayle was jubilant to have such an intimate meeting with Bachchan. But the word coming in from the West Indies locker room is that the rest of the team too was keen on meeting Big B and were a tad disappointed when they couldn’t tag along.
